Scheda, Josef Ritter von#
b. Padova (Italy), Sept. 23, 1815, d. Mauer (now Vienna), July 23, 1888, general and geographer. His use of copperplate engraving and lithography influenced map printing in Austria, was the first to apply outline colour printing in lithography. Produced maps of excellent quality.
