Scheu, Andreas#
Scheu, Andreas, b. Vienna, Jan. 27, 1844, d. Rapperswil (Switzerland), Aug. 29, 1927, writer and Social Democratic politician, brother of Josef Franz Georg Scheu. 1867 spoke at numerous meetings of the Workers´ Education Association Vienna, from 1870 editor of the weekly publication "Volkswille". 1872 joined the radical Socialists and 1874 participated in the party conference in Neudoerfl. Emigrated to England in the same year, 1912 moved to Weimar and in 1914 to Switzerland.
