Schlögl, Friedrich#
b. Vienna, Dec. 7, 1821, d. Vienna, Oct. 7, 1892. Humorous narrative and feature writer. Initially wrote for the "Figaro" and other satirical papers, then worked for the "Neues Wiener Tagblatt" and made the depiction of Viennese morals, which constitutes an important source of historical and cultural information, a literary genre in its own right.
