Schnabl, Karl#

b. Achomitz (Carinthia), March 8, 1954. Ski-jumper and physician specialising in sports medicine. 1975 first in the world rankings, 1975/1976 second in the four-jump competition "Vierschanzentournee". Won the gold medal in the120-m event and the bronze medal in the 90-m event at the 1976 Olympic Games in Innsbruck. Studied medicine after his sports career and since 1994 has been head of the Institute of Sports Medicine of the Province of Carinthia.
