Schoppernau, Vorarlberg, municipality in the district of Bregenz, alt. 852 m, pop. 897, area 47.64 km2, bi-seasonal tourism (163,558 overnight stays in 1992), located on the Bregenzerach river in the Hinterer Bregenzerwald mountain region. - F. M. Felder memorial room in the local authority offices. - Baroque parish church (1710, enlarged 1956/57); old Bregenzerwaelder Hof farmhouse types (18th and 19th centuries); birth place of F. M. Felder.
