b. Brestovac (Croatia), Dec. 19, 1928, d. Grimming, Styria, (mountaineering accident), July 20, 1988, electrical engineer. Studied electrical engineering at Graz University of Technology from 1949, and remained faithful to his alma mater throughout his scientific career; Professor and Head of the Department of Electrical and Biomedical Technology from 1973 to 1988. Instrumental in the development of electrotechnical apparatus for medical applications.
