Seibersdorf, Lower Austria, market town in the district of Baden, alt. 186 m, pop. 1,176, area 20.20 km2, west of the River Leitha, at the eastern edge of the Vienna Basin. - Seibersdorf GmbH Research Centre, laboratory of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Nuclear Energy. - Parish church with west tower, Gothic core, altered in Baroque style; moated castle (documented mention in 1559), altered in Baroque style in the 17th and 18th centuries, with corner buildings, large park behind the palace.
