Sicheritz, Harald#
Sicheritz, Harald, b. Stockholm (Sweden), June 25, 1958, director. Studied political science and journalism in Vienna; 1990-1991 trained as a film director at the American Film Institute in Los Angeles. 1981-1985 editor of ORF television´s informational programme for young people "Ohne Maulkorb"; 1986-1992 producer of international television programmes; since 1992 freelance director and script writer; since 1996 lecturer at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. S. is also the director of the television series "MA 2412" (with R. Dueringer and A. Dorfer); 1999 awarded the Erich Neuberg Prize for "Qualtingers Wien" (1997); 1995, 1999 and 2000 awarded the Golden Romy for the most successful cinema film of the year.
