Social Academy, Catholic; founded in 1958 by the Conference of Austrian Bishops in Vienna, institution dedicated to researching and promoting the Catholic social doctrine; the main fields of activity are analysing and preparing statements on fundamental social and political questions, adult education in the fields of theology and politics (basic courses, seminars, social doctrine workshops) and offering company seminars and projects.
