Speiser, Wolfgang, b. Vienna, Aug. 20, 1909, d. Hallein (Province of Salzburg), May 26, 1994, active in adult education; 1932 studied law, emigrated to Australia in 1938; after his return to Austria in 1946 worked in adult education, on which he had a decisive influence (1950-1974 General Secretary of the Association of Austrian Adult Education Centres).
