St. Christoph am Arlberg#

St. Christoph am Arlberg, Tirol, Weiler (hamlet) in the district of Landeck, alt. 1,765 m, originally hospice on the Arlberg Pass, municipal area of St. Anton am Arlberg. - Federal sports home, cable railway. - The chapel and hospice, built in 1386 with money saved by the servant H. Findelkind and a collection he initiated, were destroyed by a fire in 1956, between 1957 and 1959 the hospice was rebuilt as a hotel and a new chapel built in 1958. An original book of the Coat of Arms of the Arlbergbruderschaft (Arlberg brotherhood) has been kept in the Tirol Provincial Archives since 1973.
