St. Urban#

St. Urban, Carinthia, municipality in the district of Feldkirchen, alt. 792 m, pop. 1,334, area 27.28 km2, summer tourism resort (87,925 overnight stays in 1992) situated north-east of Feldkirchen on the southern slope of the Wimitz Mountains. - Swimming area on St. Urban lake; quarry and gravel pit. - Late Gothic parish church (early 16th century) with wall paintings (2nd  quarter of the 15th century); late Gothic Bach Castle; Dobra moor with birch trees "Polarbirke" can be seen near Predlkreuz hill (978 m).
