St. Veit an der Gölsen#
St. Veit an der Goelsen, Lower Austria, market town in the district of Lilienfeld, alt. 369 m, pop. 3,696, area 78.14 km2, situated on the north bank of the River Goelsen. - Small and medium-sized enterprises, quarries, some tourism. - Late Gothic parish church (1473) with richly profiled main entrance, high Gothic choir (around 1400), stained glass panel (1554), figures of the apostles (1460-1470), Gothic crucifix (1520) on a Baroque lay altar.
