Stangassinger, Thomas#

Stangassinger, Thomas, b. Hallein (province of Salzburg), Sept. 15, 1965, racing skier. From 1984 member of the A-squad of the Austrian Skiing Association; 10-time World Cup winner. Silver medal in slalom at the 1991 world championship in Saalbach; gold medal in slalom at the 1994 Olympic Games in Lillehammer; 1999 winner of the Slalom World Cup. 2000 retired from active sports.
