Stengg, Johann Georg#
Stengg, Johann Georg, b. Dec. 23, 1689, buried Graz (Styria), March 19, 1753, architect, son of Andreas Stengg. Styria´s main representative of late Baroque architecture; studied Italian and Bohemian architecture (F. Borromini, travelled to Italy 1707 and 1715). 1741 succeeded his father as court master builder in Graz.
