Szyszkowitz, Michael#

b. Graz (Styria), Sept. 26, 1944, architect. 1963-1971 studied at the University of Technology in Graz. 1970/1971 worked for "Behnisch & Partner" on the construction project for the Olympic Games in Munich as well as for "Domenig & Huth" in Munich and Graz. >Since 1973 has had a joint studio with K. Kowalski in Graz. From 1988 supervisor and adviser for design at the University of Stuttgart, since 1998 professor of design and buildings design at the Braunschweig University of Technology. 1987-1993 founding member and vice-chairman of the architectural association "Haus der Architektur" in Graz, 1994-1999 its president. 1999 awarded the German Prize for Architecture.
