Tertiarschwestern#

Tertiaries (Franciscan Tertiary Sisters), Congregation of the School Sisters of the Third Order of St. Francis, founded by M. Hueber in Brixen/Bressanone (South Tirol) in 1700; own province in North Tirol with seat in the town of Hall since 1928. The order has about 500 members in North, South, and East Tirol as well as in Bolivia and Cameroon, where most of the Order´s missionary work is done. Tertiaries focus on social work, which includes running schools, hospitals, old people´s homes and convalescent centres.
