Tilden, Jane eigentlich Marianne Tuch#

b. Ústí nad Labem, Czech Republic (then Aussig), Nov. 16, 1910, actress, Kammerschauspieleri; 1st marriage to E. Frey, 2nd to A. Steinbrecher, 3rd to a British export merchant. Came to the Vienna Volkstheater (1937) and the Theater in der Josefstadt after engagements in Teplice-Šanov (Teplitz-Schoenau), Prague and Hamburg; remained in Switzerland during the war, returned to the Theater in der Josefstadt; 1957-1978 member of the company of the Burgtheater. Also acted in films and on television.
