Tiroler Landlibell#
Tiroler Landlibell, promulgated by Emperor Maximilian I on July 23, 1511, a military order for the Tirolean armed forces issued in agreement with the Estates; the Tiroler Landlibell required able-bodied men from all the Estates who were between 18 and 60 years old to render military service in defense of Tirol. Every Tirolean was allowed to carry weapons (beginning of the Tirolean Marksmen's Associations). The Tiroler Landlibell was also in force in the ecclesiastical principalities of Trient/Trento and Brixen/Bressanone.
