Tischler, Josko#
b. Littermoos (municipality of St. Kanzian am Klopeiner See, Carinthia), May 8, 1902, d. Klagenfurt (Carinthia), Jan. 23, 1979, teacher and political representative of the Carinthian Slovenes. In 1945 he became a member of the provisional Government of Carinthia, 1949 to 1960 and 1972 to 1976 Head of the Council of Carinthian Slovenes, 1957 to 1967 first director of the Federal Grammar School for Slovenes in Klagenfurt. One of his main goals was to achieve bilingual education in Carinthia.
