Trausdorf an der Wulka, Burgenland, municipality in the district of Eisenstadt-Umgebung, alt. 151 m, pop. 1,647, area 15.44 km2, situated to the southeast of Eisenstadt; 49% of the population gave Croatian as their first language in 1991. - Large bakery, wine-growing, small, rustic wine taverns (Buschenschenken). - Trausdorf was destroyed in 1529 and 1532 and later re-settled by Croats. Late Baroque parish church (1767) with Rococo tombstones, neo- Baroque high altar (1897) a column of the Virgin Mary with statue (1642); Plague column (1680); Trinity column (1838); Atonement cross; Weingarten and Pariser mills (documented mention in 1515); typical narrow streets with white houses with courtyards and gables.
