Treitzsaurwein von Ehrentreiz, Marx (Markus), b. Muehlau near Innsbruck (Tyrol), around 1450, d. Wiener Neustadt (Lower Austria), Sept. 6, 1527, Confidential secretary and Chancellor of Emperor Maximilian I. Together with M. Pfintzing he arranged the "Weisskunig" from passages dictated by the Emperor, participated in writing "Theuerdank" and wrote the texts for the Triumphal Procession. His coat of arms can be seen at the portal of the cathedral of Wiener Neustadt; his memorial plaque was found in 1977.
