Troger, Hans#

Troger, Hans, b. Villach (Carinthia), March 11, 1943, engineer. Studied in Vienna; since 1979 professor and head of the Technical Mechanics Division of the Department of Mechanics at the Vienna University of Technology; visiting professor at numerous universities abroad (e.g. Hamburg, Illinois, Rio de Janeiro). Awarded the Erwin Schroedinger Prize of the Austrian Academy of Sciences in 2000.
