Unger, Carl#
b. Olbramkostel, Czech Republic (then Wolframitzkirchen near Znaim), Aug. 24, 1915, d. Vienna, Dec. 21, 1995, painter. Studied in Vienna, Paris and other European cities. 1950 to 1986 professor at the Vienna Academy of Applied Arts (Rector 1971 to 1975). 1947 co-founder of the Art-Club, from 1969 member of the Vienna Secession. 1950 Austrian state prize for painting.
