Untersiebenbrunn#
Untersiebenbrunn, Lower Austria, municipality in the district of Gaenserndorf, alt. 158 m, pop. 1,300, area 30.49 km2, in the Marchfeld plain, agricultural enterprises (Schottenstift monastery), distilleries, gravel production. - Location of a richly equipped woman's grave (discovered in 1910) with splendid offerings (jewelry made of gold and other precious metals), which represent the most valuable testimonies to German art in Austria. A girl's grave was found next to it. These persons were probably members of a family of Gothic princes who lived at the beginning of the 5th century (today exhibited in the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna).
