Urbare#
Urbare, registers of the estates of landowners and the contributions of their subjects. Unlike land registers, unilateral records kept by the landowners not valid under public law. Many Urbare of the 15th century are still not available in printed form. Urbare of sovereigns and of religious or secular manors are important sources of late mediaeval history.
