Velschberger, der#
Velschberger, der, presumedly Bavarian-Austrian author of farcical stories in the 15th century; stories known under his name include "Wolf und Pfaffe" ("Wolf and Parson") and "Von den alten boesen Weibern" ("Of old evil women"), a grotesque coarse caricature of old women, who are portrayed, for example, as the pawns of the devil.
