Vogel & Noot Holding AG#

Vogel & Noot Holding AG, hammer and rolling mill and tool-making plant founded in 1872 by the German businessmen F. Vogel and H. W. Noot in Wartberg im Muerztal (Styria); transformed into a joint stock company in 1937 by the second generation after the death of the founders with substantial involvement by the Styrian industrialist H. Pengg, from 1970 concentration on finished products (radiators, agricultural machines, metal packaging, tools etc,), from 1988 quoted on the Vienna Stock Exchange; from 1990 successful expansion of production and marketing activities into the countries of the former Eastern Bloc.
