Vorderweissenbach, Upper Austria, municipality in the district of Urfahr-Umgebung, alt. 704 m, pop. 2,061, area 53.27 km2, located in the northern Muehlviertel Region, near the border of the Czech Republic; in the vicinity, Sternstein mountain (alt. 1,125 m) with look-out tower. - Carpentry works producing doors, door components and loft stairs. - Gothic parish church (documented mention 1292, expanded in 1947/1948).
