Weber, Beda eigentlich Johannes Weber#
b. Lienz (East Tyrol), Oct. 26, 1798, d. Frankfurt am Main (Germany), Feb. 28, 1858. Writer, one of the founders of Tyrolean local history and folklore studies. He began as journeyman shoemaker, then became a Benedictine monk. From 1826 teacher at a grammar school in Meran/Merano, in 1848/49 member of the National Assembly of Frankfurt, then parish priest in Frankfurt am Main.
