Weißer Berg#
Weisser Berg (Bilá Hora), Prague, Czech Republic. Place where the first decisive battle of the Thirty Years´ War was fought on November 8, 1620, in the course of which the army of the Bohemian Estates was routed by the troops of Emperor Ferdinand II and the Catholic League (1,500 men of the imperial troops and 3,000 men of the Bohemian army were killed). A chapel and a Baroque church dedicated to the Virgin Mary (1704-1714) were erected on the site of the battle.
