Weis, Gerhard#

Weis, Gerhard, b. Vienna, Oct. 1, 1938. Journalist and broadcasting manager. After working for the print media joined the ORF (Austrian broadcasting corporation) in 1967, from 1973 director of the "public affairs" department and 1974-1978 intendant of the 1st television channel. 1992-1994 Director General of the provincial studio in Vienna, from 1994-1998 Director General of ORF radio and from 1998 ORF Intendant General.
