Wirtschaftsforschung, Oesterreichisches Institut fuer (Austrian Institute of Economic Research), founded as Oesterreichisches Institut fuer Konjunkturforschung (Austrian Institute of Cyclical Research) in 1927. Its aims include monitoring fluctuations and trends in the Austrian economy, publishing research results and promoting knowledge of how the economy works. The management and the board are made up of important representatives from trade, industry and public administration. Specialised library with 40,000 volumes.
