Wodak, Ruth#
b. London, UK, July 12, 1950, linguist, since 1983 Professor of Applied Linguistics at the University of Vienna. Studies in particular social aspects of communication (gender and class specific language, minorities, fascism etc.). Awarded the Ludwig Wittgenstein Prize in 1996.
