Wohlbrück, Adolf eigentlich Wilhelm Anton#
b. Vienna, Nov. 19, 1896, d. Garatshausen (Germany), Aug. 9, 1967, actor. His films, for example "Viktor und Viktoria" (1933), "Der Student von Prag" (1935) and "Maskerade" (1934, director: W. Forst) made him one of the most popular actors in German film comedies (in which he mostly appeared as a rich man about town). Started his career in Hollywood in 1936 (acted under the name of Anton Walbrook); later moved to the United Kingdom, where he had a successful acting career on stage and in films.
