Wolfrath, Anton#
b. Cologne (Germany), July 9, 1581, d. Vienna, April 1, 1639, Cistercian, later Benedictine. Was abbot of the monasteries of Wilhering and Kremsmuenster (both in Upper Austria), bishop of Vienna from 1631 (first in the rank of a prince), continued the Counter-Reformation and became president of the central office for the administration of the sovereign's fortune (Hofkammer) in 1623.
