Wulkaprodersdorf/Vulkaprodrs<hatschek>tof, Burgenland, municipality in the district of Eisenstadt Umgebung, alt. 171 m, pop. 1,875, area 12.23 2, on the River Wulka to the south of Eisenstadt. Predominantly Croatian-speaking population (around 52%, 974 people). - Railway works agency of the railway line Raab-Oedenburg-Ebenfurth, which also serves Sopron in Hungary; transport industry (private railway line, forwarding agents), trade. - Prehistoric finds; after Turkish destruction in 1529 and 1531, re-settled by Croats; early-Baroque parish church (first documented mention 1337, consecrated in 1642), tower (1801) as part of fortifications; Lady Chapel (1779); Cholera chapel (1831); Trinity column (1725).
