Zepharovich, Viktor Leopold#

b. Vienna, April 19, 1830, d. Prague (Czech Republic), Feb. 24, 1890, mineralogist. Studied at the school of mining at Schemnitz (Banská Stiavnica, Slovakia), was trained at the Court Mineral Collection in 1851, worked for the Imperial Geological Institute from 1852 to 1857, Professor at Kraków University from 1857 to 1861, at Graz University from 1861 to 1864 and at Prague University from 1864 to 1890. Described and classified new minerals.
