Zitko, Otto#

Zitko, Otto, b. Linz (Upper Austria), Feb. 14, 1959, painter. 1977-1982 studied at the Hochschule fuer angewandte Kunst (now University of Applied Art) in Vienna with P. Weibel and H. Tasquil. At the end of the 1980s he turned away from conventional painting to use the line as the basis of his art, e.g. in monumental and yet austere wall paintings.
