Zweig, Max#
b. Prostějov, Czech Republic (then Prossnitz), June 22, 1892, d. Jerusalem (Israel), Jan. 5, 1992, dramatist. Worked as free-lance writer in Berlin from 1920; emigrated to Palestine in 1938; wrote numerous dramas on religious, historical and contemporary issues based on classical and idealistic principles.
