Trans-Alaska-Pipeline#

The Prudoe Bay-Valdez pipeline runs quite a bit above ground or else it would thaw the permafrost layer and the supporting pillars would become unstable.

It delivers (at the time this picture was taken, in 2005) 150 million litres of crude per day.
