A mountaionous valley located in Gligit Baltistan province in the extreme north of Pakistan. Surrounded by high rise mountains of the Karakoram range, the valley offers picteresque scenery with extremely cold climate. There are several lakes located here including the huge Attabad lake, which was caused by a massive landslide in 2010. Throughout the summer season, it remains a popular tourist spot.
