The very unusual 'almost' caves of Umbanga Park#

The "Arways" are a cave sysem that one can explore more or less without artificial light: most of the caves have holes or slits at the the top so that there is enough natural light, even in place allowing some shrubs to grow. The caves were also used by aboriginal people as hiding places: The entrance is winding an narrow so that a single person can stop a hoard of intruders!
Die Archways sind ein Höhlensystem, das man weitgehend ohne künstliches Licht erkunden kann, weil immer wieder von oben Licht hereinströmt. Eine wirklich ungewöhnliche und noch immer wenig besuchte Kuriosität.
