ABSTRACT Jatigede Dam is a rock fill dam located on Cimanuk river, West Java province, Republic of Indonesia which is one of Multipurpose dam and second biggest in Indonesia with 114 m height and about 980 Mcm of reservoir volume. To perform the initial filling of the reservoir, the inlet of the diversion tunnel must be closed and followed by plugging work.
