Feuerwerk#

Fireworks, display of light, noise etc. produced by the combustion of pyrotechnical (explosive or flammable) compositions on festive occasions. Fireworks were already customary in the 17th century in connection with courtly opera performances and are now frequently used as part of public festivities, fairs etc.
