Haas, Wolf#
Haas, Wolf, b. Maria Alm am Steinernen Meer (province of Salzburg), Dec. 14, 1960, author. Studied linguistics, then became a university lecturer in Swansea, Wales. From 1990 advertising copywriter in Vienna. His first detective novel "Auferstehung der Toten" was published in 1996; his novel "Komm, suesser Tod" (1998), winner of the Deutscher Krimipreis (German detective novel prize) in 1999, was filmed in 2000 with J. Hader in the leading role.
