Hammerschlag, Peter#
Hammerschlag, Peter, b. Vienna, June 27, 1902, d. (probably in Auschwitz concentration camp, Poland) after July 17, 1942, author and revue artiste. From 1931 author of the Viennese revue "Der liebe Augustin". Rose to fame as an "instant poet" reacting to calls from the audience); also renowned for his grotesque poetry.
