Hausleiten#

Hausleiten, Lower Austria, market town in the district of Korneuburg, alt. 180 m, pop. 2,579, area 61.04 km2, in the Tullnerfeld region, west of Stockerau at the foot of the Wagram terrace. - Asphalt mixing plant, mill, commercial enterprises. - Gothic parish church (13th - 14th  centuries) with Baroque alterations to choir and south tower, high altar (1779), ceiling frescoes (1785) and 2 altarpieces (1779, 1787) by M. J. Schmidt, St. Aloysius chapel (around 1770) with rococo interior; parsonage (1774); former castle (1839); column dedicated to the Virgin Mary (1742).
