Hohenberger, Franz#
b. Vienna, Aug. 14, 1867, d. Vienna, Dec. 17, 1941, painter. After studying at the Vienna Academy, 1891-1893 worked in Paris; later took part in expeditions to India, China and Japan, in 1898 became a member of the Vienna Secession (1906-1908 president), during World War I painter of war scenes in Poland; after the war worked in Vienna.
