Interessenvertretungen#
Interest Groups, organisations which represent the shared concerns and claims of the groups concerned vis-à-vis the state, other organisations and associations. A distinction is made between statutory and free interest groups. Pluralist societies produce numerous differently organised interest groups, which, in many cases, also exert political influence; this is particularly true for the Chambers, which have compulsory membership, but also for strong free interest groups. The organs of interest groups are generally elected by the members of the organisation.
